Search Engines
Here is a list of a few search
engines. I tend to use Google the most, it seems to be fastest to me. In general
they have similar rules. But each can have their own intricacies, most will
have a "help page", or "tips and tricks" etc. Common tricks are "quotation
marks". If you have a phrase you need to look for put it in quotation marks
to force the search engine to look for the whole phrase instead of giving
you EVERY page with each and every word from the phrase you searched for.
Then there are "Boolean
Operators". Click here for a better explanation about them then I could do.
Good luck on your searches.

I have added a couple of new search engines.
The first is "Sirus". It is specifically for looking for scientific info.
Next is BrainBoost. It is a Question Answering search engine. It was specifically designed to answer questions, asked in plain English.
Lastly, LookSmart's New, FindArticles ¡ª search and read 3.5 million articles from over 700 publications .
I shall try a new idea here, since I like Google best anyway, I just put Google here for us to use right from here, faster this way. You can choose to search the internet, or my site. (So notice where you have it selected to search below the window). I will put a link here to my other search engine page so you can still get to it to use other search engines.
Latest Update:
Google
has a new branch out now for "Froogle
Shoppers"![]()
Good luck on your searches. :+)
